PMOH Helps Raise Funds for Community Project

Below is a letter from a PMOH Team Member’s son:

I would like to thank everyone at PMOH (Purcell, Mulcahy, O’Neill & Hawkins) because they helped out a lot during my service learning.  I really appreciate all the items and money that they donated.  I collected all of this food because in school we are doing an in-school project called a Service Learning Project.  During this project my partner and I found a C.O.N. (Community of Need) and then we helped them empower themselves to live on their own.  When we empowered them we became the C.O.R. (Community of Response).  Some other C.O.R. were the places we volunteered and the places to which we donated our food.  Not only did the PMOH team donate items, they also donated their time and effort into giving me all of these things.  There are no words that can fully express the gratitude that I have for this group of outstanding people.  With the money they donated I got to buy five hundred plus pounds of animal food to donate to the Plainfield Animal Shelter.  I was also able to donate some dog bowls and dog beds to the same shelter.  Again, I am grateful for all the work and effort they put in to helping me with my project.

From,

Sebastian Chinchilla
