On Thursday, May 17, 2012, PMOH partner Susan Lawless was successful in obtaining a jury verdict on behalf of PMOH client, defendant Elizabeth A. Slusark. Parties previously had stipulated to liability and the case was tried on the issue of damages. Plaintiff alleged a cervical herniation and lumbar herniation both as permanent injuries, and a temporary right knee injury. Plaintiff had multiple cervical point and trigger point injections as well as cervical epidural injections. After a four day trial in the Middlesex County Superior Court before Judge Kravarick, the jury determined that plaintiff had not suffered a permanent injury.
