Michael J. McCaffrey - Partner

Michael J. McCaffrey has been certified by the Supreme Court of New Jersey as a Civil Trial Attorney since 1992.  He specializes in civil litigation, with special emphasis on cases involving catastrophic personal injury, severe cognitive impairment, commercial contract disputes and alleged construction defects. 

He received a B.A. (Philosophy) from Rutgers University in 1978. He attended Indiana University School of Law, where he was selected through a writing competition to serve on the Indiana Law Journal, and from which he received a J.D. in 1982. During that time, he served as a legislative assistant to New Jersey State Senator Wayne Dumont and received the Michael S. Halpern Award.

Mr. McCaffrey has served as a Bencher in the Joseph Halpern American Inn of Court, a Director of the Mid-Atlantic Aviation Coalition, and as a select panel attorney for the Aircraft Owner's and Pilots Association. He has been an instructor of the paralegal program at Berkeley College, and a trial tactics instructor for high schools participating in the New Jersey State Bar Association Mock Trial competition. He is a member of the New Jersey Defense Association, Trial Attorneys of New Jersey, and the Lawyer-Pilots Bar Association.
